This morning Van and Dennis picked up us at the Marriott Suites and drove us to LAX. (Actually, Dennis picked us up and some creature sat shot gun sleeping and groaning...hahaha...just kidding, we love you Van) The flight was relatively short. Only 4 hours. We reached Maui and drove our rental to Weilea to the beautiful Fairmont Kea Lani. We ate at Longhi's for dinner and it was delicious! I got my first souffle for dessert and that was so good! Chocolate souffle, if you're wondering. Then we needed to go back to the hotel (we walked to the restaurant) but it was dark so we asked the waiter if they had a shuttle or something. He mysteriously leaves, and comes back and asks Mike for his name. He leaves again and tells us the shuttle will be arriving in 5 minutes and will call for Mike. Then when we were waiting, a limo pulls up and I jokingly said to Mike, "Wouldn't it be funny if that was our shuttle?" Guess what...it WAS!!! HAHAHA. I asked the driver, "Is this what you call a shuttle in Hawaii?" He told Mike, "It is when you're staying at a resort like the Fairmont Kea Lani." WOW! Our first limo ride. When I got back to the hotel, Bao and Van called me and we talked about the wedding and how it's the talk of the day. That makes me so happy. All the work put into it really paid off.
